Hopefully, if we go all summer she will have it by fall! Because I know she can do it!

Flip flop
As you all know, Alli has been working on her back handspring FOREVER now! And she's got it, but she is lacking the self confidence to "do it" without a spot. And I've heard that this is the turning point! Once you get the backhandspring then you can do anything. So here she is below at practice yesterday. Because, you know...this has turned into a video blog! ;)

Happy Dance
OK, as some of you know and others might have figured out by now, we bought a video camera last week! And I am having so much fun videoing! And tonight figured out how to upload them to my blog! This is going to be fun! You might get tired of my videos, but I hope not! (Wendy, honestly...they are for you! Sssshhh, don't tell anybody ;)!)
Last Friday night the Scrappers had their best game ever. And maybe it was so good because Walker was on fire! Well, as on fire as a 6 yr old can be while playing coach pitch baseball!
He played first base and got player after player out. And once he entertained the crowd, or his fans (me, Nana, Poppy, Chele, Stacie, Brandon, & Taylor) with a little "happy dance". And lucky him I got it all on video!
The most exciting play of the night was his first double play! The batter hit a fly ball and Walker caught it and ran to the base and touched it! He got them both out! It was his first fly ball to catch. And Jason said it was the first fly ball caught in the history of the Scrappers (3 yrs). That's very exciting!
They are all starting to just "get" it! And it has been so much fun watching them learn and "get" it!
So here you go, watch my little guy dance like a white boy! He takes after his father ;) Silly goose!

I love you!
Y'all, Griffin will be 2 in 2 months. And I have said "I love you" daily, over and over, for 22 months now and he has yet to say it back to me...
Until today! And it just melted my heart!
Of course, you also get to see him point to Mickey Mouse on his shirt and yell "stop it"! Two of his favorite things to do! I can't wait to see how he reacts when he sees the real Mickey Mouse...count down...12 days to go!
Oh yeah, please ignore the messy kitchen!

He won't stay in his stroller?
Griffin loves his Poppy {and his Pop}.
And yesterday at the softball game, Poppy gets him out immediately.
I normally leave him in until the game is over, just about over or I can't take his fussing any longer.
NOT Poppy!
He gets him out...
immediately.
Wouldn't you?
And Poppy gets him back out...
immediately.
And later tries again.
To put him back in the stroller.
And Griff fusses again.
And Poppy says, "He won't stay in the stroller!"
Well, I wonder why?
Gotta love those grandparents! Thankgoodness for parents or our children would be brats ;)!
Got boys...Got wrestling
He has a little team mate that has a sister who is on Alli's softball team. So last night during the game this is what they did...
They wrestled! And notice this sweet and innocent little girl {who has a sister on the team also}.
She was just casually watching... or so it looks!
Look here's my shoe...you can't get my shoe...haha!
Walker gets her shoe...
I make him give it back...
Then I turned around and this is what I see...
She has both boys pinned on the ground...
Yea, I think she can handle her own...

A deal is a deal!
So in the post below I explained that there was a 5 run rule per inning.
The score was 15-10 our last time up to bat.
The coach says, "Hey girls, you get your 5 runs and tie the game you can pour water over my head!"
Well, the final score was...
15-15

Alli's coach is the sweetest man. I am so thankful that he puts NO pressure on the girls and reminds them {and us} that we play for fun!
SO THANKFUL!
Go Crushers!
Last night Alli player her 2nd game! And it was exciting...well...as exciting as a softball game can be at this age!
You know it is slow pitch...they should call it slow, wild, just try not to get hit pitch!
Pretty much at this stage in the game, the innings do not end because of 3 outs...
So Alli is up to bat and walks...and makes it to home plate only for the point NOT to count because...
of the darn 5 run rule...her point was #6!
She got to play centerfield and 2nd base. And let's just say there is not alot of action on either position! Thankgoodness!
Cause this Crusher was everywhere BUT 2nd base and outfield!
I'm pretty sure she is making up a dance here!
Come to think of it maybe soccer is more her speed! Something she is constantly moving!
Safety City
Yesterday, Thursday, Walker's class had a field trip to Safety City and then lunch at the park!
My mom kept Griffin over night so that I could go! Thank you so much Mom!
Walker had a blast and wanted one more time around the little city before turning in the keys to his "car"!My mom kept Griffin over night so that I could go! Thank you so much Mom!
The kindergartners got these little go-cart pedal cars, but when he is in fourth grade (like Alli) he will get the motorized cars!
Here are Walker and his 2 buddies in his class AND on his baseball team! They are so fun at this age! Can I put a brick on their heads???

Extra's from today
Griffin and all the sticks he collected!
A cute one of the girls!
Walker reading his Bible...the Bible he got when he was dedicated. He found it today in his dresser and brought it on the car ride. Funny boy!
Miss Kennedy!

Meet the new baby foals...
My brother and his wife, Amanda, bought horses back in Dec. They were told that they might be pregnant...
Well, last week within a day of each other they had their babies!
And they are the cutest little things!
Very awkward looking...
all legs...
and head!
I thought at first this one above "Shiloh" wasn't very pretty. But after seeing her today I think she might be the prettiest one of the 2! I really think her coloring is going to be gorgeous when she gets older! Can't wait to see! And she is much more outgoing than the red one below. Apparently, the white horse mama above has had babies before...she seems to be much more relaxed. Than...Well, last week within a day of each other they had their babies!

This one above, apparently is a first time mum. She is very over-protective! Notice how her ears are straight back? That is how they stayed while we were there. She would not let anything near her baby!
Pop (my dad) sitting on a bucket waiting for the baby horses to approach him!
Uncle Brian (my brother) bringing in more feed...you think the goats know what is in that bag?
The kids had blast seeing all the baby animals. Alli has been chomping to get out and see the colts. She would live out there if she could!
Our afternoon at the farm!
All my parents grandchildren!
From Left to Right:
Kamryn (8), Kennedy (5), Griffin (22 m.), Alli (almost 10), Walker (6)
All blue eyed, except for one! My little guy Walker has my brown eyes! Here is sweet Kamryn! She has really grown up recently...
My brown eyed monkey, Walker!
The 3 sassy granddaughters watching Pop and Brian tame the new baby foals!
Our feathery little neighbors..
A few years ago we had robins who built their nest in our tree in the front year. And last year, no birdy took roost in our yard...
But this year, they nested in the oddest place...on our gutters under our patio...
I worried that with one gust of wind it would be blown away...but nope...she laid her eggs and hatched them.
Her she is feeding her babies. Can't wait for them to get cutier! Right now they aren't so attractive!
Lunch with my little man
