We have a little fish!

Swimming lessons are over! And we survived with flying colors!
I am amazed at how much he is swimming now. Of course, he still needs to get stronger, but as a beginner just learning I am SOOOOO impressed and excited!

Here he is with his swim coaches, Seth and Sam, aka Prince William ;) Does he not look like Prince Will?

Swimming to the ladder all by himself after his dive!
Woot!

Today was free day. Whatever you wanted to do they did.
My son and his new buddy wanted to jump constantly off the side.

Over and Over again!

Griff and his new buddy, Braden.

Floating with their coaches!
What an awesome experience. It started off on the wrong foot, but ended up amazingly!
I can't believe we have a little fish!
Yay!!!

Let's Go Nationals!

Walker played his first All-Star game this morning and won!
Really there was no competition, bless the other teams heart. I hate to see another team get stomped.

Dug-out is ready to go!

So blessed our coach prays before every game!

First time up to bat and Walker hits!
Base hit!

Love the look on his face below!

And he scores!!

It's all about the slide ;)

National vs Hawkins
15-0

Woo Hoo! We are surviving swim lessons!

First day of lessons was on Monday!
And he was all smiles!

And then they made him go under. And he did not like that at all. And then he cried and one of the coaches had no patience with him and he dunked him and dunked him and dunked him. It was all this mama could do not to run out there and grab my child and run. But I didn't. I sat patiently. Left the pool and knew that the next day I would need to have a talk to the older coach. So I did. Explained that Griff was not afraid of the water before lessons and I really needed his younger brother, who was helping him coach, not dunk him like that ever again. And just to be patient with him and he would get it!

So, here we are on Day 4 and my boy is swimming with his face completely in the water!

And my boy has jumped off the diamond board 3 times now!

And is all smiles when he comes up!

I am sooo happy he was able to calm down and work with these young men and get it!

Because he is having a blast now!

My sweet 4 year old!

Oh and btw...I've nicknamed his head Coach Prince William. His name is really Sam, but I think he looks like Prince Will ;)

The End

This, my friends and family, is the last vacation post!
Woo Hoo!
I know you are glad :)

After an 8 hour drive from Yellowstone, we made it to Keystone, SD where Mt. Rushmore is located.

After 8 hours in the car.
And on day 8 of vacation.
Some of our children were done.
They, or should I say HE, didn't want to see those "rock men".

Here are the big kids pretending to be faces on the mountain.

I think we were delirious!

See Nana went on vacation too with us :)

The last picture I took on vacation turned out to be a sweet one.

Looks like someone enjoyed "peeking" at those "rock men". ;)

Mammoth Park

Our last night in Yellowstone was here at Mammoth.
It was a nice little town! Quaint and Cute!

The site seeing here was limited.
It seemed that most sights were a good drive south.
But by day 5 of yellowstone, I was ok with not having a ton of stuff to hike to...I was worn out!

And as you can tell above, so was Griffin...pooped!

Mammoth used to be an army base.

So stinking cute! Loved it here!
