Sleep my little baby...

Griff has been sleeping sometimes down stairs in the empty office.
It's just easier sometimes. He doesn't stay in his bed at naptime or bedtime most of the time.
So instead of going up and down the stairs a hundred times a night or day we put him in this room on a mattress.
Today at naptime when I went to shut the door this is what I found!
Oh how it just melted my heart! I sooooo miss those baby days! When you could just sit and watch them sleep.
I just want to kiss those sweet lips!

Petit Jean State Park

So last Friday, we dropped Alli off to go to camp and the boys off to spend the weekend with my parents and headed to north Arkansas.
To Petit Jean State Park where we stayed at Mather Lodge.



On our way we saw a Grandy's that we had to stop and eat at.
We love Grandy's!

We drove along Hwy 7 and drove across this pretty little bridge in the middle of nowhere.
Jason said I was a quick draw :)
I grabbed and turned on my camera and snapped a picture in seconds ;)

After driving 6 hours because we drove around Lake DeGray we finally arrived at our destination...

I couldn't believe the view when we walked up to the lodge.
Now, the lodge is very rustic.
But the outdoors were beautiful.
I'll post more photos as soon as I upload them.
We did lots of hiking. And y'all it was HOT! But worth it!

While we were away...

This sweet beauty went to her first church camp!


We dropped her off on our way to our destination.

She was excited about camp...can't you tell?

She is also 11 and very silly these days!

We've been away...

Jason and I took a little weekend trip and just got back today.
Tomorrow I hope to go thru all my pictures and blog about it.
This is the sunset from our lodge.

We had a great time and look forward to taking the kids back soon!

another hair cut

Griff got his hair cut again this past week.
His hair has decided to stand on it's own.
We've realized after this hair cut we need to keep it short all the time!
Here are just a few pictures I got of him while my mom, Sissy, buzzed his hair.

Sciport

We went last Friday to Sciport in Shreveport. It was our first time and we loved it!
Jason's uncle John actually works/volunteers there and got us all in free! That was a wonderful surprise!
We loved it and would love to go back again with Daddy next time!

And just in case you are wondering.  The green rocker was made for my great grandmother (Granny Keeling) by my her husband (Papa Keeling).  So it will stay green since he made it for her years ago!  You know just in case you were wondering ;)

Mud Fun!

Walker had been going to a Super Duper Sports Camp the last several nights with a few little friends of his.
He has enjoyed it!
Last night was mud night.  And somehow I drew the short stick and got to pick up these muddy little boys!


But honestly, I am glad I got to pick up.  I loved watching them have fun! 
Alli and I didn't think it looked "fun".
But I can guarantee that these boys thought it was!

Now maybe at this point (below) Walker was thinking YUCK as some mud flew in his mouth...gag.

But I'm pretty sure that thought was over just as quickly as it came!

The Tug o' War is over...and this was only the beginning!
