Cup, Shovel, Bucket

We've had such beautiful weather the past few days that I took Griffin and we went and bought some sand for his box. And this is how he played:

Scoop up the sand in the cup....
Pour it in the shovel....
THEN empty it in the bucket! That was his sequence for a good bit! Until he decided he would eat the sand. He figured out quickly he didn't like it!
We've got 20 minutes until we pick Walker up at school and then we are off to the park....again!

Our day at the park!

Today was the perfect weather for the park! I feel like we have been cooped up and that we NEEDED to get out! We met several other moms out and had a blast. My little man loved playing with all the other kiddos!

He ran all over the place! And wanted to swing, but only for, you know, 2 seconds! And then out and off he went!
And this photo cracked me up! Isn't he all boy! Sweet Hannah sitting next to him just looked at him! We need to work on his "how to impress a girl" skill!

We had a great time! And can't wait to do it again soon!

Griffin meet Geo Trax, Geo Trax meet Griffin!

I've had these put up in the top of the closet for several months now. Walker had stopped playing with them all the time so I just put them up. Well, while W was home this week sick I got them down and I think Griffin really likes them. Well, I should say he really likes to play with Walker and the train!

Please ignore the pile of clothes on the chair in the corner!

Prayer Request

My friend from school had boy/girl twins last week. I found out just now that the little boy has passed away. Only thing I know right now is that as of last night they were in nicu because their bilirubens were high and that they were afraid the little boy might have brain damage. Please pray for this family. My heart is breaking for them. And pray that little Johanna continues to improve. As of right now she is doing good. Thank you all!

Big boy haircut!

Well last Wednesday I given in and had my mom cut ALL of Griffin's hair. It broke my heart to do it, but once it was cut I was so glad I did it! He looks so handsome now! I just love it!

Look at that big boy! Doesn't it make him look so much bigger? older?
I just loved his little hand holding this baseball in this picture! He is going to be a ball player too! He wears Walker's very first cleats around the house all day now and is constantly throwing balls!

It's time to play basketball!

Walker got one of these over the door basketball hoops for his birthday. We hung it in the hall and the boys had a good time slam dunking!

Happy Birthday again Walker

This boy has celebrated his birthday for I think 2 weeks now. We went to The Great Wolf Lodge and celebrated. We 1/2 way celebrated on his actual birthday thanks to the flu/viral infection. And then today we got together with our family!

It was all about The Dallas Cowboys today! And yesterday while I was at Wal-Mart picking up supplies I found a box of "Game Day" plates, napkins, cups, forks, spoons, napkins, banner and table cover on clearance for only $5! I couldn't believe how lucky I was to happen up on this since The Cowboys were our theme today! So I bought it! And Walker was so excited to walk in and see the little banner hanging! It's the simple things still thank goodness!
Happy Birthday sweet boy! I still can't believe you are 6!

Clean up time on Friday night!

Jason cleaned up the back patio last night because we had Walker's little family birthday party here today. He was using the blower to clean off the patio. Griffin loved it! He would back way away from Jason and just stand there and wait for J to point the blower at him and then just grin from ear to ear! Of course, Alli loved it too!

Thursday night Family Game Night!

We took a few weeks off due to sickness around here! But this past Thursday night we were back at our game night! I bought a new game called You are kidding! I think it is from the makers of Would you rather. We had a good time even though Daddy had to leave early to go teach a class.

words...

you never want to hear coming from your child...

Walker..."Mom is there a reason I just found these in the potty?"
Mom runs to the potty and yep...it was dirty water!
YUCK!YUCK!YUCK! is all I can say....

Thankfully, Alli has more toothbrushes than she does teeth around this house!

Happy 5th Birthday Kennedy!

Today is my little niece Kennedy's 5th birthday! She is the cutest little thing! She is this tiny little girl full of energy and spunk! She is so funny, she thought that the minute she turned 5 she would get to start to school! I can't imagine her in kindergarten she will be the tiniest one in class!

Brian and Amanda had her party on Sunday at Pump it up (our favorite place!). We had tons of fun playing and visiting with our family! I enjoyed watching my Granny watch all the children. I think she was amazed at that place!
Our newest little cousin, Emma, was there and Griffin couldn't keep his hands off of her! He even got her paci and gave it to her. I honestly thought he was trying to "steal" her paci, but he proved me wrong! Emma and her sister Ella are cutie pies!

Happy Birthday Kennedy! We love you!

I cut off his curls....

I wasn't going to do it until he turned 2 but today they just looked awful and J has been at me to cut them for awhile now. So I did! I can't believe how different he looks now.

Look at that handsome boy! Without curls..sniff..sniff!
