Thru the lense of Griffin

We were out at my granny's house the other day and I started with a photo of me and my little man.
Then that started, "I wanna take a picture!"

So I carefully put my strap around his neck and prayed he wouldn't drop it (my camera had my new lense on it).
And let him snap away.

Me and Walker!

Me with my sweet granny!
Love her!!!

My baby cousin, Ava!
She is precious and Griff and I have enjoyed playing with her all day on Mondays!

Field Day!

Field day is so much fun!
My kids have loved this event every year and I think this is Walker's last year having one :(
He's moving up to Intermediate next year...sniff, sniff.

First event was the 100 yard dash. My son is very competative...
last year there were tears because he didn't win.
This year he didn't win either, BUT there were no tears!
Yay!!!

Chillin' with a few of his classmates!

The BIG event is the tug o' war contest!
HUGE!!!
The classes get so into it!
Cheering each other on!

This year was the first year in awhile where the weather has been perfect! Nice and breezy!
I can't believe another year is coming to an end!

Happy Birthday Sweet Alli

My baby girl turned 12!!!! Seriously where does the time go?
I remember as a child time standing still and now...it is just flying right by!

The day before her birthday we had about 12 of her little girlfriends over to eat and hang out.
12 of her little friends and Griffin :). Walker was saved by a friend and didn't have to be tortured!

It was neat watching Alli with her friends and seeing her little personality.
She's quite funny, our girl.
And it was funny to see the personality of her little friends. She got Chunky Soup from one friend :) Too cute!

Left to right: Griff, Kamri, Courtney, Cameron, Kennedy, Lorie, Victoria, Danielle, Robyn, Kamryn, Alli and Hannah
(missing Olivia and Callie about)

Silly silly girls!

Happy Happy 12th Birthday my sweet Alli! I am soooo proud of the young lady you are becoming! You make us very proud!

Tim

We joined our college watch care program last September at our church.
In September we meet Tim, a freshman at LETU.
He was raised in Afghanistan. And has only lived in the US full time for the last 3 years (I think).
He is a MK (missionary kid).
.

We have LOVED getting to know him.
A very smart boy.
Who is studing Aviation and just did his first solo flight a few weeks ago.
He hopes to be a missionary too, one that can fly planes.

As you can see, our kids love him.

It's like having a big brother.

He has gone back home to Michigan for now and then will be off to Alaska where he will spend his whole summer interning and doing some missionary work. Things like having VBS with eskimo kids! How fun does that sound!
Can't wait to hear all about it!

Mother's Day

We have had a great Mother's Day.
First, my hubby let me sleep in!! Woo Hoo!!
Huge, huge deal!
After our busy Saturday it was much appreciated on Sunday!
Thanks babe!

We went out to Diana for lunch with my family, both grandmothers and aunt and uncle.
It was a great day! Good food and great company.
Lots of talk about the Royal Wedding :)

The kids loved playing together. Riding Ginger and pitching the baseball to each other.
Also, loved holding the week old baby goat! She was sooooo stinking cute!

My parents with their moms!

And a picture of all the moms!
Sondra, Amanda, Granny, Sissy, Grandmother and me :)

The kids with their cousins!

The end of the day we spent with Jason's family. With more visiting, snacking and ball throwing!
It was a great day! We are sooooo blessed! Thank you Lord for all of these blessings!
