OPERATION Gingerbread house...Mission FAILED!

It started off ok...

And slowly got worse....

And worse....

But the gingerbread men were a success!

Cut out cookies

Christmas eve we spent the afternoon making cutout cookies for Santa.

Griffin waiting patiently with his cookie cutter!

All this hard work and then we forgot to leave Santa milk and cookies!
Oh well, I'm sure he didn't need any ;)

Santa Claus!

We waited until the last minute to see Santa...Dec. 24.
But guess what!
No line!

They got the best picture of the kids! This was taken with my camera so all their "stuff" was in my way. But you can see it turned out sweet! My baby looks so big!

Six Flags bound!

We kicked our Christmas Vacation off with an over night trip to Six Flags!
We met 23 of our "closest" friends, LOL.
The thought of keeping up with 23 people at Six Flags doesn't sound like fun?
Well, guess what?
It was a blast! We had the best time and all the kiddos were soooo good!

Here are a few of the kids planning our day!

Me and Griff on the tea cups!

All the children minus 1 with a very interesting reindeer!

Miss Alli doing what she does best! Riding a horse!

I thought you already had your tree up?

Well, we do! We have our artificial tree up and decorated in the living room.
BUT we had soooo much fun going to Danville Farms a few years ago when we decided to get a real tree for Christmas, that we thought we'd go again and get a charlie brown tree.
A Charlie Brown tree for what?

Well...

I had the bright idea of hanging our Christmas Cards on this tree!

That way they would be displayed nice and neatly.

For all to see!

I love it!

The Sweet Owens Family

Today I had the priviledge to take our sweet friend's pictures!
Amy is my running buddy! Thanks to her I can now run 4 miles! (So excited about that!)
And Carl is our Life Group leader! Loving our LG!

And these two boys of their's are precious!
Walker thinks Camden is "It"!
And Cason thinks Alli is "It"!

Cason and Camden

Amy said her family was hard to take pictures of...
I'm not sure what she was talking about!
They were perfect for me :)

I am sooooo blessed to have this family in my family's life!
Very, very blessed!
Love you guys!

Chance of a lifetime!

My boys went to the WORLD SERIES (several weeks ago ;)  I'm so behind on blogging)
They had a blast!  I was sooooo excited they got to experience it.
It was the day after Jason's birthday that they went!
So, Happy Birthday babe!

Too bad our Rangers didn't win!
But it was a trip of a lifetime!!

I loved this picture above...You can just tell he is trying to stand as tall as possible to see what is going on on the field!  Priceless!

And how awesome that George H. Walker Bush and George W Bush got to throw out the first pitch!
They had a blast!  It was money well spent even though they lost!

What's gonna work?

Teamwork!
(And if you have small children you just sang that to the tune of The W0nd3r Pets!)

My sweet friend Tracey raced in my last 5k and took this picture of me and my training partner pinning our numbers!
It takes teamwork for sure to run these things!

November Mud Hut Story Time

Last week we went to the Mud Hut again for story time.
This month we did a hand print on a plate and said what they were thankful for.
Griffin was thankful for "Toys r Us"...:)

Love that sweet handprint!
The sweet ladies at the Mud Hut will make his handprint look like a turkey and then write around the rim what he was thankful for!
