Barksdale Air Show 2011

We spent our day on Saturday at the Air Show. Not really at the base, but at Jason's dad's companys private party.



Got a little sun, ate my first crawfish (mudbug)!

Watched the B2 Stealth bomber!

And probably Griff's favorite the "loopty loos"!

We {heart} picnics at this house!

I have a thing for picnics. Not sure why? Or where it came from, but I LOVE them!
Griff and I have had several this spring. But todays was all his idea and I loved it!

And had a little fun on the the trampoline too while we were out!

Lily is turning 1!

Lillian will turn 1 on Friday!
And her mommy and daddy will celebrate their 2 year anniversary tomorrow!

AND Lily will become a big sister in September!

I would say they have a lot going on!

The Hunt

 We love, love, love the egg hunt.

Probably because my Granny loves it!

This year my sweet little cousin's family got to celebrate Easter with us! 

They've lived in Del Rio for 5 yrs or so.  So we've never been around her little girl, Taylor.

The picture above you can tell that Taylor is loving having cousins around! 

Griff did not know what to think about her trying to kiss him. 

At first he was pushing her away and then he gave in and let "cousin girl" Taylor kiss him :)

And you can tell Walker thought it was funny!  What he didn't realize was that she was making her rounds and he would be next!

Jason's last words were, "We're good for another couple of years right?"

Ha!  Surely, he knows me better than that ;)

Picnic

We love picnics over here! On Friday, my little man and I spent the whole morning outside. We had a picnic and planted shrubs...

We also killed another snake! Yes, another one. Two in a week might be too much for this country girl!

My little man is having sinus problems, bless his heart. We had an xray taken yesterday and he has a very clogged sinus cavity. So, he is on another round of antibiotics AND doing the "nellypot" as he calls it. It's actually not the nettypot, but the sinus rinse. At first, it was alittle rough, but today he was a pro! And he swears by it now! He even thinks it is getting rid of his dark circles under his eyes...bless his heart!


Praying hard this does the trick. I can't imagine having to have his sinus' cleaned out! OUCH!
